Theming, Improved Timecard Entry & Speed Highlight WebCenter Improvements

Our first ever WebCenter 6 project spec meeting was dated January 13, 2011.

That is just over a year ago. We are proud to say that our first live customer will be up and running on WebCenter 6 by the first week of February.

Just to name a few of the awesome new features:

  • “Themability” throughout every type of configurable option: Customer, Employee, Department, Customer, Vendor, Branch, Entity, User Role, Origin Type and Application Name. What does this mean for staffing firms? Customized landing pages is just the beginning. Brand it the way you want!
  • Entering timecards is easier. We have multiple entry points for entering a timecard on the Customer Portal; now you can enter timecards from the order, the employee or the timecards screen.
  • Automatic web timecard creation at the start of week.
  • SPEED! WebCenter 6 is a lot faster than its predecessor.

We have seen over 40 new installations of Applicant Portal which underwent a major refactoring in implementation and customizability.  We moved to a fully customizable, themable and multi-tenant system there as well.

We have made dramatic improvements to deployment procedures as well.

We have spent the better part of a year migrating Link Staffing to our new Applicant Portal alongside a customized on-boarding survey they call L.O.P.E.

Gregg Dourgarian just got back from a trip to their headquarters in Texas where they had nothing but good things to say about the smooth transition their franchisees experienced.

Web Services Developer Joe DeCock deserves a big round of applause as he devoted over 320 hours alone during the last 2 months.  This was no small feat, I guarantee you that!

We have many new things to be excited about here in web development.  As technology moves more and more towards mobility, you can expect to see us coding away at new apps geared towards running staffing software on smart phones.

And last but not least, I would like to welcome a new addition to our team, Adam Helgeson!
